I can't stand any team I think football is a silly game

 

Yeah, emilsson, that's life. And I have to say that it'll definitely be interesting. Thankfully my dad has a car with an odd number plate which he's not allowed to drive on that day so I can stay at the apartment and watch the match instead of going on

I think the Italy 1 Croatia 2 result was quite "unrealistic" as compared to the way the game was played; I would have thought that Italy deserved to at least draw the game. The goal in the 55th minute (the first offside one) wasn't really offside; I think it was a waste that Vieri didn't get it, and worse still, he got a yellow card for protesting! I must say that Croatia's second goal was a real surprise; it sure didn't look like it was going on at all, while the Italian shot taken by Totti looked like it had all the marks of a prospective goal, and what do you know? It hit off the goalpost and bounced off at such a weird angle I almost thought it was going in!

 

Portugal 4 Poland 0. I have to say that this result looks much more "correct" and expected, in contrast to the earlier match where Portugal bombed out.

Looking forward to tomorrow's matches!

 

I agree with LadyVader81.
I think hockey is much more interesting (Although Czech Rep. haven't won The Wold Championship again, our Slovak brothers won, so it doesn't matter).

 

yes hockey is a cool game I used to play it when I was alot younger though I used to play football, swiming,cricket, tennis and hockey and now I only sometimes go swiming or play squash

 

I love our hockey players. But what is really interesting is the fact that they play best without our NHL stars (this year our team was full of them).
And have ever tried softball? I played it for four years

4 years till the next WC. time will go by fast! and there´s the Euro 2004 also!

 

I will be around 20 by then seems so far away...and still we'll have to qualify again and that could get hard once again ...

By the time the Germany-Cameroon match was halfway through, my dad and I had decided to call it a match of getting yellow cards

 

I think the ref overreacted "a little"

 

I feel sorry for Argentina: they played very well

But it's deserved for France They just weren't prepared for a World Cup.....


Anyway I wish best luck to Germany since they'll face Paraguay. I hope they'll have more success than France 4 years ago
And I also hope that Denmark is going to win his next match
