It's time to chose a Census Banner -- Contest Over

Since census is a small forum -- and it's all about voting -- I thought it would be great to let the forum regulars vote on the banner themselves


Here's the way this is going to work:

All votes will be checked for being socks. Any person who tries to vote more than once will have all their votes thrown out.

You must have at least 20 posts in the last 6 months in Census(prior to Oct 21) to be able to vote. This may seem a bit weird, but the reasoning is that i am trying to protect the voting from having people recruit random people to vote. I also wanted to reward Census regulars by allowing them to vote. If you are close to 20, I will probably go ahead and count it.

exceptions to the post rule are the banner artists below--all of them may vote.

You must PM ME with your choice of banner.


You are able to vote until Wednesday Oct 26 (5 days). The winner will be announced immediately, but the banner may not be uploaded for a week.

Thanks to the tourney going on, I made 20 posts and am eligible to vote. PM has been sent. Congrats to all.

 

How do we know if we made twenty posts in Census only? That's hard for me to count especially if I post a lot elsewhere.

 

view your posts and then choose Census from the dropdown menu as the only board to search for posts in.

This is cool - it has been a while since a banner has been voted on. Good idea, Droideka.

Anyway, all the banners are really great. I'd be happy with any of them, good work guys!

Right...which is why she probably has the deadline, so people don't post 20 times all at once today. You've apparently just registered and while that's certainly not a bad thing, it just means that you haven't posted before in Census and therefore aren't a 'regular'. Until now, at least.

 

Well, technically, I have posted in Census before, but this is a new account, so I thought I'd just get caught up. It's okay, though.

 

Hmm, I was wondering why there were so many posts by -Phoenix- in Census . . . kind of scary.

I can't see gabe's either. I don't want to vote yet because of this.

 

I could see gabe's banner without any problems.

 

For me, after gabe's name is a blank with no link like the others.
