Lately I've had a burning sensation when I urinate?

Do you think it could be an STD or should I stop peeing into the campfire?

Hmm, well considering your lifestyle, I'd say stop peeing into the campfire, you nutter! :p :D

STD? Don't you have to have sex to get them, hence the S part? :p

Ok Phill I've got one for ya.

I have a friend that's young and a bit hung up on himself, he tends to turn a drama into a three part mini series and whenever he ask's for advice I always give it to him straight,he often says that I'm like a big brother to him but he just won't listen to a damn word I tell him, well he may listen but he'll never act on it or take it seriously. I really wnat this guy to end up a well rounded member of society but he just seems to live in this dream world where he is the main attraction. How do I convince this guy that I'm talking sense and if he actually tried to follow some of the advice he's been given, he might actually have got somewhere ?

Do you think that punching this guy until his eyes pop out is a good option ?

    Thanks m8 ;)

    Tay-Mar, thanks for your question.

Well, in this situation, I think you've already got a clear idea of what needs to be done. Using your vast knowledge, obtained over years in the dating game, and years in a long-term relationship, I think you should find the nearest piece of 2x4 and use it to batter the young *idiot* around the head.

Perhaps this will jar his mind long enough to make him take notice and listen. Clearly rational conversation is not working.

Disclaimer: Big J accepts no responsibility for advice given out in this thread as he is useless!

Mind if I take this one instead?

Ok you said it, he's young so he probably isn't going to follow your advice no matter what you do to him to make him listen. Remember you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

Life is going to have to throw your friend a few curve balls before he gets it and starts to really listen when you give advice.

Or you could be just giving out bad advice. :p

Me give bad advice Wendy, I think not with my many, many ,many years of experience dealing with matters of the heart. My advice is sound and my friend has even stated publicly that everything I told him would happen, did and yet he still seems reluctant to follow my advice.

Do you think I should stop offering advice to him and let life take it's toll on his oh so tortured soul ?

All you can do is offer advice and hope they listen.

Look I had a friend once who was having an affair with a married man and I told her repeatedly for months to dump him and move on and she never listened to me, keep telling me he was going to file for divorce and what not and I finally shut my big mouth and assumed she'll learn on her own and you know what, she did.

And I highly doubt you give bad advice. ;)
