I just found out about this.
It is less than a month away but thought you might be interested in knowing.

    John Williams

This is the most likely date people could go. May 21st

If anyone might be interested let me know I will try to get tickets.

I have posted this also in New Jersey and Boston boards . Maybe we could get a nice turnout.

The only tickets still available (if i didn't get the last ones) are in the Orchestra section (floor) and are $37. There may be single tix left in the first balcony which are $45-ish.

Just wanted you all to know, despite what everything in print said about the concert, Williams was not doing music from his movies all night, so don't feel too bad. There was no SW to be had :(
I'm not familiar with all the movies he did and don't have the program in front of me so forgive my vague-ness.
He started out with some older movies. Then did 3 pieces from Harry Potter. A violinist joined and they did several more songs including some Fiddler on the Roof.
Next was a great tribute to Harry Mancini including The Pink Panther and Peter Gunn. Then a few more songs.
    1st encore: Raiders March!
    2nd encore: E.T.
Even though I didn't know 90% of the music performed, it's always a treat to see Williams back in his home turf. If you get the chance to go, try not to get floor seats ;)
Pops trivia: Arthur Fielder conducted the Pops for 50 years!
