Provo July Activity?

Hey, maybe we should start planning a July activity...

 

Yeah, probably should. Mia and I both have birthdays this next month, so something around that might be good. Personally, I'm planning a costume thing for my birthday (sadly, I don't expect Gerrik to appear unannounced . . .).

How about we have a potluck birthday party with something like a bad poetry night for the summer birthdays, no matter if they have birthdays in July or not?

Feel free to post or pm any ideas to me. I don't want this to be a dictatorship where I go "LO! YOU SHALL DO MY BIDDING! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Yeah, okay, you know I'd never do that (You know it's Mia's job to be that rather odd...), but you get the idea.

 

AHoy, is anyone out there? We need to set a date!

 

For me personally, if it's going to be this month, it would have to be this week, because the last week of July I'll be gone(yes the entire week) for a wedding reception in WY.
I have really no life, so any time (besides gross early mornings) is good for me.
Kateydidnt wouldn't be able to do anything weekdays until after 6pm, but is free Sat, so far.

I don't know anyone else's schedules.

 

How's next Saturday or Friday?

Well, I proposed a b-day party for the summer people, combined with either a game night or bad poetry/fic night. If Mia's willing, I saw a game of Star Wars LIFE at her place yesterday. Maybe we could do that, have a potluck b-day party (I'll make the cake this time, Dana), and do it all at a park since the weather still provides for long days?

 

There's a park pretty close to my house that hardly ever gets used, we could do it there.

Meh, I haven't even tried to write poetry in years and so all I have is poetry I wrote when I was like fourteen. And in general poetry just gets on my nerves, I get impatient with it.

 

I've got an odd idea, but if I decide on it, you will not know precisely what it is.

What: SW LIFE and "DARK SIDE" (aka "apostasy") and potluck b-day party.

Drinks and treats and whatever you want to eat by the rest of you!
What to wear: Casual stuff. We won't be overly active.
