Well, its only a few months till its release - what do you guys think it'll be called ?

Personally I go for "Rise of a Hero", or maybe "An end to Darkness"

Ideas ?

I think he means that LOTR officially is composed of six "books."

But I think it makes far more sense to integrate the Frodo/Sam/Gollum story with everything else, instead of 3 hours of just Frodo/Sam/Gollum and then 3 hours of everyone else.

Yeah, shouldn't you have at least updated the title? It doesn't even make sense this way, as there's no Part 3 of anything coming out or in development. In fact, I'm not sure there are any film franchises producing a third entry right now, let alone LOTR.

Actually, LOTR is a single novel composed of six books that the author was forced to publish in three volumes and so it's now called "a trilogy".

 

Glad you realized I was right

 

It's better off they were divided into parts, reading a huge tome of a book would be awkward.

I only know of The Hobbit & the 3 LOTR books, what other parts are there?


It is odd that the 3 longer LOTR books had only 1 movie each and the shorter Hobbit book has 2 movies which will now be titled as each of the 3 other movies are (There and Back Again & an Unexpected Journey).
Then again, Harry Potter did something similar with the last movie of book 7 which was shorter than part 5 yet that was only one movie
