Mace Windu in Episode II

Mace is comming in less than 2 days !

I'll give you my comments now Doode, I just got back. I think you'll be dissapointed with the amount we see of Mace fighting, although he's in the whole movie quite a lot. He takes care of Jango really quickly, he's just got to much for him. The fight is short, Mace is almost hit by the Reek, loses his lightsaber, then Jango is crushed under it, gets back to his feet, shoots the Reek, then see's Mace and starts firing at him (Stupid idea) Mace runs up a few deflections and dead Jango. We dont really see enough of any of the Jedi in the arena though, but through the whole film Mace comes across as a bad a$$. When Obiwan/Padme/Anakin are about to be shot, you see Mace's boots walking slowly upto the Box in the Arena, then from nowhere he's there with the lightsaber at Jangos neck. Sam did a great job

 

Well i already know Mace is a badass but good comments.......

I'm not seeing the film till 12pm tomorrow,or today, depends where ya live.

 

Sam Jackson, like in the first film, still looks like Sam Jackson delivering lines.

Now, if it was anyone else, it would detract from the experience, but because it's Sam Jackson, and he's the coolest person on earth and the most badass Jedi ever, you don't really ever notice.

He doesn't have much fighting, but he kicks serious ass. And the Mace Jango fight (if you think of it as starting as soon as you first see his boots) is not as short as people make it out to be.

My friend just got back from seeing it, and said "he was so cool when he killed jango, he killed him like he was a bug or something"

 

I saw AOTC like 3 hours ago and it was the kills yo!~

the second half of the movie is just awesome

The Mace scenes in the arena were just awesome ....

Mace twisting in the air deflecting laser bolts and rushing Jango and systematically killing him were the highlights of the film for me......

this movie was just behind Empire as my favorite SW movie

I liked when Mace was running and deflected the bolt behind him and it took out the droid. Mace is cool

He should have killed Dooku when he had the chance though...

 

I loved that shot of Mace deflecting blasts while is still falling towards the arena floor. How cool is that!!!!

 

Mace was just too damn cool. I loved his fight with jango (i know it was short but cool none the less). I liked when he flipped of the balcony from dooku and when he's running and deflects a bolt backwards and kills a droid

 

AOTC is the best movie ever!

And my absolute favorite part is seeing Mace right outside Dooku's box. I didn't expect it, but I totally loved it.

 

Electrum lightsaber.

Ignore me if I am stating the obvious, but did anyone else notice that Mace's saber makes a distinctive and original sound when deflecting blaster fire? It is high-pitched and sounds like a keyboard. You can really hear it as Mace is deflecting Jango's blaster fire right before Mace kills him.

It sounds kickass!

 

Ya Mace had awesome action scenes for sure, like when he jumped off the balcony and moving in for the kill on Jango...

I can't think of a better place for my

800th POST!!!

My favorite Mace moment (other than the decapitation) was when he walked into the box where Dooku, Poggle, Nute, and Jango were and he busted out the saber right in front of Jango's neck. That was pure badass.

And of course I loved it when he did that little turn-around to deflect that blaster bolt back at the droid.

Every Mace action scene was awesome

they better have more Mace on the deleted scenes DVD
