My internship starts Monday and it's here in Moncton. Why?

Well, the first day was teh boring. Today wasn't as bad, but that great.

What is a raise

 

A raise is when they decide to pay you $6.15 an hour instead of minimum wage.

Is it a great salary? No, but at least I can say I don't make minimum wage.

 

What is the current minimum wage DOY...

 

Minimum wage is $6 isn't it?

 

I wonder if it is one amount across the country or a fixed amount...

 

It's different in every prov, IIRC.

But I don't have to worry about it anymore since I make $9.25/hr

Minimum wage here is like close to $8 unless you have less then 500 hours of work experiance, then the employer can pay you $6.

They say it will get more youths hired...

 

Call centers pay the best here...for a part time job anyway.

 

Unfortunately, that means they turn everything interesting in town into them.

Minimum wage is $6. It went up from $5.90 at the beginning of August. I was happy.
