    Where: Goddard State Park

    When: July 11, 2p.m.

What: Cookout! Food! Bring your outdoor entertainment (frisbee, gloves, balls, etc)

Directions: Take Interstate Rte. 95 South, to Rte. 4 South, to East Greenwich exit, turn right onto Division Street, to Rte. 1 South, follow signs to Goddard Memorial State Park.

I've been trying to find directions other then that but no luck.

The address is: 345 Ives Road, Warwick, Rhode Island 02818

    Website: Goddard State Park

So we need a plan for food. I do believe I can bring a grill. Any suggestions? People bring one type of food? Or maybe people bring their own food they want to eat and we cook it up?

Are people just bringing what they are planning to eat? Or should we make some sort of plan to pass out what should be brought?

well i'll bring some teriyaki chicken...which i plan on eating mostly cause i don't really do burgers or hot dogs.

i've also got some extra paper plates and plastic utensils, so i can bring those.

so pretty much we'd just need like chips...burgers (and cheese, if people want cheeseburgers)...hot dogs...napkins/paper towels...soda (in can form maybe, so we don't have to worry about cups)...cups if soda is in 2-liter form...

that's all i can think of for now.

hopefully the weather today will not repeat itself in a week. rargh!

I will be bringing my own vegetarian provisions. If anyone else is interested in vegetarian stuff, let me know and I'll bring extra. I can bring chips and salsa as well.

I had a great time today.
Much thanks to Jim for getting me to the meet today.
I owe you ...and don't say no either.
Thanks to the Wookie for being a good chef.

Good to see Meriwyn today at the meet. :)

Had a good round of Epic Duels once again..even though I got poned out of the games I participated.

"Watch out for that frisbee" Carrie was like a calculating surgeon with her impecable aim for the head today. [face_laugh] Ed being the first victim.
Ed stood fast and did not go down.

I think that squirrel stowed away and followed us home.

After the meet we had a good game of Star Wars Trivial Pusuit at my house with Roseanna and Ed while Jim was playing NES games Duck Hunt and The Legend of Zelda.
He did chime in on some questions and was helpful in deciding some judgement calls.
Sorry that Marble Madness would work man.

And if you thought Ed was going to let go of his stand on R2D2...no way. Not after the R2 for the game kept giving him the wrong spin ammount on SW Trivial Pursuit. But he did emerge victorious just took longer to get the roll he needed.

And thanks for the prize for the trivia, I will use it towards the group for something.

A good time indeed. See everyone next month.

I also had a great time yesterday :) Thanks to all for showing me how to play Epic Duels...it's quite addicting! I wish I had time for a second game. But there's always next time!

See you all next month or at the Boston meet :)

Awesome time indeed. Great recap of the day Chris. Although, you did miss where we had to fish out a burger that had dropped thru the grill haha =X Thanks guys for trusting me with cooking duty. Even though it wasn't perfect =\

Wishing had I gone on over to the after meet.

I'm down for another cookout meet any time.
