If anyone from the NW needs a ride I can help you out, can't get much further north than I am so I'm sure I'll be passing by.

It'll be great to meet everyone and try to get things figured out for an official Fan Force. This is my second time trying to get one off the ground (unfortunalty the one we started in Saint John died...doh...), it's hard trying to meet the first few times, but once we get used to everyones schedul it's a little easier.

 

Sorry gang I won't be able to make it I have to work. My sons soccer game is early morning so I was clear there.

Just to confirm, DrHaggis, IMPosessed, Darth_Paul, and myself are able to attend?

For those who don't think they can make it.. check your calendars, people - maybe you're able to make it to the mall on a Saturday afternoon afterall! It doesn't necessarily have to be a super-long meeting! Just a 30 minute coffee break!

I agree with DrHaggis that this first meeting should allow for friendly conversation as much as possible - I'm looking forward to finding out what everyone is looking for in a Fan Force, if anything. Are you looking for a new social group? Someone to show up to movies with in-costume? A network of resources for collecting/prop building/etc? All of the above? Anything else? That's what I'm hoping we can cover when we get together this weekend.

I know that I, myself, am getting very excited for the next movie. I'm glad we have a chance at actually forming an official Fan Force before May!

sorry guys, i'm not going to be able to make it *ducks from incoming projectiles* One of the great things about working at a church is having a flexible schedule, one of the bad things is that i need to be flexible lol. i'm going to be working on Saturday, at least as far as i know. if things change, i'll show up, if not, forgive me?

It would be wrong to change the meeting time the-day-of.

I was hoping we would have heard from some of those who could not make it, to see if there was a better time for them.

We will meet at 4:00 as promised.

 

I'll definitely be there! Unfortunately, the "geeky t-shirt" I was gonna' wear is still in the wash. I'll be wearing my Flames Jersey, instead - easier to spot, at any rate.

Veritate and I made successful contact with Darth-Paul this Saturday. Hurray for our first official meeting.

We hope to have another meeting mid December, before the holidays dominate everyone?s schedule.
