Canada Military Threads

Well, im getting sick of seeing every thread turned military, so you anything you want to say regarding ANYTHING miltary, say it here, and only here!

 

don`t like it...don`t read it. I`m not going to censor myself with what I want to talk about...sorry.

 

We have 4 submarines from WWII that we bought from the UK

That's all.

 

We also have 2 nuclear subs as well

 

Good thread. Ian and I are both military, and the civilians around us are against military. We can feel welcome in this thread.

Damn <insert PM name here>, cutting funding to our would be fleet of 6 nuclear submarines!

No, it`s just that there is usually a lack of people to talk to exept you and Thrawn..and Thrawn and I are usually on the most, so the topics always go that way

When the two major posters of a board are military, one must expect it. I don't know about Ian, but I intend to keep military talk to this thread.

 

ok, ok I`ll try too...so did you catch Leno last night...making fun of our military?...he said that Canada was good enough to send thier tank to help with the war effort....I should e-mail NBC for an apology to evryone involved

 

Yes, I did catch that. I was quite upset by it. I saw it just before going to bed, and I laid in bed fantasizing about Canada declaring war on Leno, to prove our military power.

 

Alex Trebek also insulted the armed forces, but he later apologised...and he`s canadian

Hmmm... the Northern Alliance has a strong foothold on Afghanistan. The possibility exists of them setting up another Taliban-like remine. What do you think of that possibility, and what should we do about it?

 

Well, if you mean "we" as in me and you...we should stay here untill ep3 is finished, then go kick some a$$

if you mean "we" as in canada...that`s up to our leaders i guess.

 

I mean we as in the CF. And yes, of course it's up to our leaders, but what are your thoughts on the matter? Remember, you're still a civilian, so you can speak freely.

 

Well, I really don`t know what i`d like to see...I just want it all to go away.

 

I want us to do whatever is best to establish a good government in a quick period of time with minimal loss of life. I hope and believe the killing, for the most part, is over.

 

as long as there is religion, there will always be killing (see my religion thread)

 

That's the unfortunate truth, and it's quite ironic, because religion preaches love and tolerance. Unfortunately, many don't take it tha way, and Jihads result.

 

True true... ah well...I`ll start this conversation in the other thread...but for now...what are your thoughts on govt. support for our military?

 

Support in what way? Financial? That's badly needed. At least we're finally getting some of it though.
