Abq Mos Alba Costuming Thread

Hey .. how are all the trooper costumes coming along....Chris...Cindy????

I'm still waiting on my ABS armor to come in (any day now). But I got the helmet and DC-15 rifle done (trying to complete what I can). Other than than I am in waiting mode. I might take a stab at getting the boots done next.

 

My armor parts (arms, legs) suck. The chest and body areas are solid because they are the stuff I showed you. The other parts need major work...bondo, sanding, cursing...all that good stuff.

mine is ok-- some major simmin needed for my big ole legs...but gecko is being very kind to me with it.
should be hopefully done in the next two weeks. i still need to make my neck seal.

I have heard that those Simplicity patterns are now at JoAnn's! Perhaps ours have them too!

WooHoo! Okay everyone its official, I got my helmet and am working on a tie-pilot costume to be ready asap! I still need the armor and chest box but I should be ordering them sometime soon! Anyway any 1st hand suggestions would be great! I know several of you have done the tie pilot thing already. Guess the thing I need the most input on is the communications console on the arm as well as customizing the helmet (Jess I think will help with this one, yes?) Anyway, any help anyone can offer would be great! Hey propgeek how about a nice blaster for me!?! Just kidding!

ooooh, full body shot of Clem...in his armor of course! I just took them in fact right now. So they'll be up pretty shortly.
