O.C, CA Movie Discussion

Tired...long week. Review won't be until Monday. Can't catch Jackass tonight. Must eat yakitori now.

 

oh man. Jackass 2 was painful to watch. lol. I loved it!

 

The IEFF are going to see A Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D at the El Capitan in Hollywood on Sun Oct 22nd, 2:30 showing (I think that's the time). If any of you in the OC wanna come join us pop in here and let us know, we're going to get the tickets on Monday.

 

This week, I checked out A Prairie Home Companion. I liked it. If you're an NPR addict such as myself, and have caught this wonderful glimpse of old-time radio Americana on Saturday afternoons, the film gives a ficticious recount of the show's final broadcast (even though it has ran for more than 30 years and continues to do so). Garrison Keillor and the Guy's All Star Shoe Band are the only performers from the actual show that perform in the film, however there are brilliant performances by Meryl Streep, Lilly Tomlin, Woody Harrelson, and John C. Reilley...interestingly enough, Lindsay Lohan is in the movie, and sings. She is terrible. I could not believe the girl actually cut an album with a voice like hers. Otherwise, good film, but if you have Netflix, I would recommend renting the Prairie Home Companion 30th Anniversary live broadcast first, then the movie adaptation next.

 

I saw lucky # slevin this weekend and it was good.

 

Battle Royale is still the greatest movie of all time.

 

BORAT! comes to USandAs on fridays! wawaweewah!

 

Borat did the opening of SNL on Sat. Funny it was.

 

Man, I missed that. After I go to see the movie on friday and I come home late.
