Moving to the Moncton area in the new year......

Greetings all...I'm moving from Ottawa to Shediac in Jan/Feb.....

I hope I can get together with some other SW fans in the area...so I figured I might as well get a head start and see whos out there.....

 

Well, I'm from PEI but in Moncton all the time because my girlfriend lives there (and PEI sucks )

nah...I hate seafood.....we'll shrip is kinda ok...sometimes..LOL
Me and the Wife will be running a cottage bussiness in shediac...and helping run her parents grocery store....in Barachois...

 

Cool...good touristy spot during the summer.

I speak French. I had to take a call at work one day because the managers that day were both unilingual. I still had the drive thru headset on too!

 

I took core french from grade 1 to grade 9. I'm taking french next year!!!

 

My dad's family is 100% french, and I took french in grades 4-12. But I can barely speak it. I can understand & read enough so I wouldn't get lost in Quebec or France, but that's about it.

 

yeah...I'm about the same.....

Hey are there any Figure collectors in the area?

I am a big collector and am hoping to get some info on good places to score figures and stuff in the area....

I know the basic places at Champlain Mall..but I'm looking for the comic shops and places like that that carry SW toys...

 

There are no comic shops in the Moncton area. There's a 2nd hand book store on Mountain Road that sells new & used comics, and a game place called Gamezilla (IIRC), but I'm not sure what they have there.

 

I bet some of the people at "Ground Zero" would know some collectors and traders. They seem like the type that are into that kind of stuff.

 

There's a very little bit at the United Books on Mountain. Just a handful of comics. I got my friend her Christmas present there.

I didn't think the French population in Shediac is high.

 

They all speak Shiac.
