Hawaii Nov. 1st DVD Release @ Circuit City

Hello, gang.

Per mac_nut's request, I'm posting this information for all to see.

Rebel Legion Hawai'i has a tentative appearance planned at Circuit City, Pearlridge for the evening of November 1st to celebrate the release of the Episode III DVD release. These details are subject to change since the final final word has not been given yet but the details thus far are as follows:

Who: Star Wars fans, with an emphasis on good guy / good gal (or good creature / good droid, you get the idea) costumers and whoever wants to help us out [Handlers / wranglers / picture or video taking].

What: A costuming appearance for possible picture taking by & with store customers.

When: Tuesday - November 1st, 2005. [Our group should meet at 6 p.m. at the store to start getting into costume & discuss (with store rep) how the event will take place, guidelines, etc.] I'm planning for the actual costuming to take place from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m..

Where: Circuit City, Pearlridge Shopping Center
[It is located across the parking lot from Anna Miller's.]

Why: Because we like you. M-O-U-S-E.

Even if you simply want to come as a spectator, that would be cool. I encourage one & all to come, especially to buy your Episode III DVD there! [I know I will...]

I would really appreciate it if those that plan to participate (as a costumer or as a member of our support crew) will private message me here (or post) or e-mail me. I need a tentative head count to give to the nice folks at Circuit City. Thanx in advance, everybody.

P.S. Again, this event is not yet fully confirmed. I will verify that the event is a "go" when I get final word with anyone that contacts me to let me know they plan on coming.

Hmmm... seems I have a dilema on my hands. Circuit City or Walmart. Rebel Legion or 501st. Paper or plastic. Too bad Im not twins!

Nemesis, you could go to both. 501st goes to Walmart at midnight. Rebel Legion goes to Circuit city at 6PM.
The only dilema you have is if you wanted to come to the Best Buy trooping were doing for EpIII DVD and Battlefront II game.

 

Pac 501stTrooper, actually, I already have plans up until 9-ish that night. So its just a matter of where I'll end up buying my DVD from. I'll be in full costume though (can't decide to go either as 1)Dark Anakin inspired one or 2)Darth Maul inspired one). We'll see.

 

I think I can make your date, Jaytee, but we will have to see later on.

It's good to hear that! Other people have already expressed their interest/intent on coming. Therefore, I hope you will make time to be there! Let me know if you'd like to costume or help out. Spectator only? No matter what, the more the merrier.

Okay, gang,

Greetings. I just spoke with my contact at Circuit City & the event for November 1st is now OFFICIAL (i.e. it's a GO!).

Again, for those that plan to costume / represent the Rebel Legion Hawai'i, I humbly ask that you meet there with us by 6 p.m.. That should give us just enough time to start costuming by 7 p.m.. We will go until the store's closing time at 9 p.m..
