October Meeting.

i made it to the meeting and met up with PLO. but other then that didn't see anyone that looked like they would be a member(but i did meet a trekkie)
for the meetings i'll wear my yoda shirt. we definatley make up some sort of way of figureing out who's a member.

 

oh man that trekkie was wierd, he just started talking to us

oh and i know that that's a thurday,it's the first day of summer break for high school

 

Sorry I missed you, shyriiwook9134. I got there areound 3:20 and stayed til about 3:45. I have a variety of SW shirts and I always try to wear one to meetings to identify myself to people. I was going to snag an area in the café, but it was way full. And so were all the other little areas, like over in the Entertainment section. *sigh* We've had a few meetings where I work (Books-A-Million), which I really don't mind. And it is less crowded than B&N. Just something to consider. I know a pretty quiet corner in the back of the store by magazines where I and my friends used to meet up to knit.

. . .Not ALL Trekkies are crazy/weird. I happen to like ST as well as SW and many other things (Harry Potter, LOTR, Firefly).

i'm not doing anything but if we throw a party or have a meeting at someone's house my dad wants to meet some of the members.

The 29th is this Saturday. I really don't think I'll be able to clear out my house. I work Firday night but I'm off Saturday. I was thinking perhaps we could all go to a movie? Saw II comes out this weekend. Just a thought...

I like the idea of a Halloween party also, the only problem is where to have it. It's not looking like my place is going to be available. :/ I'm trying, though. In the event that we can't have a party is where the movie suggestion comes in.

 

is there anywhere we can do it other than your house?

 

Not that I can think of, unless someone wants to make suggestions. I can't think of a public place to have a party that won't cost money. While I like the idea of a party, it's getting a bit close and at this rate there won't be enough time to arrange it, sadly. I work Thursday morning and Friday night, so I've got a pretty small window of time to plan something for Saturday before it actually gets here. I'd suggest Sunday, but I work til 9 Sunday night and people have school on Monday.

You guys should've come to the CAP party. It was hella fun. We got our pictures taken and played SW trivial pursuit. ^_^
