Amph Official LOST Thread

The premiere is less then an hour away over here. It's already aired on the east coast though.



anyway, here's hoping we get another spectacular season.

 

I won't spoil it for the Westies, but it was an interesting episode.

 

I saw the pilot episode and never thought of watching it again. I've heard it is pretty intense.

 

Yes, the pilot is way intense! Sadly, I just gotten into this show, so I'm still on the first season.

 

I have never understood why people watch this show. I refuse to watch on the grounds that it seems to be brainwashing people...

I'm on the East Coast, episode wrapped up about a half hour ago. You should enjoy it A_J, especially if you're a Jack fan.

 

Gilligan's island this is not. Great opening. Looks promising.

Then you heard wrong. It's nothing at all like Gilligans Island except the fact they are stuck on an island. That's the only similarity, the Lost characters are well developed and fleshed out.

 

i'm going to have to use a suzuki_akira line:

countdown to caring (about fleshed out characters)...3....2...1....thats strange..


anyways, its a series that everyone loves, therefore they will never end it. until everyone stops watching, this series will never end...its the very nature of tv.

 

I think it's absolute drivel masquerading as something intricate and high-brow. I'll admit that if the writers actually do have all of this planned out, which I highly doubt, there exists the possibility of a mind-blowing payoff to all of this nonsense, but I think it's going to fizzle.

 

Yeah, I will say that this episode focuses primarily on Jack, Sawyer and "Freckles".

seinfeld was a bad show. I didn't like it.

Lost is a very intelligent show, being the only show that I watch on tv, because I despise television.


Third season is strange. Could be good, or bad. I'm not sure yet.

 

Who doesn't?! He's freakin' awesome. My three favorite characters are Sawyer, Eko (whom you've never heard of, considering you're still on the first season), and Hurley.

 

I'm a Desmond fanboy myself.

(Another character Mariah hasn't encountered )

 

Um yeah, Sawyer definitely is the coolest of them all. I've heard possible rumors about him though... *cough*


And Desmond is second.

 

Sawyer was great in this episode.

I mean the whole show, not necessarily tonights episode, though that was very good. My jaw dropped during the into. Don't know what's going on, but I can't wait to find out!

Roughly 2 years ago I watched the pilot in it's original run due to the hype and my own belief that there's no way they could make a show about people stuck on an island. I watched expecting to see a flop but instead I got hooked in the first 10 minutes and haven't looked back!

The only problem is that there will only be 5 more episodes before they break for a couple of months.

 

I predict another bull **** season where sweet **** all happens once again!
