Hi, I'm a hobby costumer from East London and new to this forum. Unfortunately I'll have just come back off holiday when CE happens so will be completely broke but I really REALLY want to see all the costumes, so if I'm too short of money may just come along in costume and hang out in the foyer lol!!

Frieda, I figure of all the things to blow money on, travel is one of the best. And travel to a foreign country combined with a Star Wars convention is pretty much the ideal combination. It'll be worth it even if you have to skip paying some bills to come.

Hi there,

im new to this site but wanted to ask a question to other likeminded Star Wars fans like me in regard to this convention in London! Im after going to this great event definately but ive been let down by my mate who i was supposed to be traveling with as he cannot make it now, all im asking is are there are any fans on this board from the Manchester area in the UK which is where im from just so i can have company getting down there & share prices etc, i just dont like the idea of travelling all the way there on my own as id probaby get lost hehe??

PLEASE PLEASE i would be grateful for any feedback on this question

Hello, i'm from italy ill be there all the 3 days!

 

Richie - I live near Manchester, Southport on the coast. We have a small but socially active group in the NW, part of the bigger Fan Force UK North. In fact we are meeting up in Manchester on Monday, to see "Monkey" at the theatre.

I won't be travelling via Manchester unfortunately, since it's easier for me to go via Liverpool (and I am going on Wednesday now too). But I am more than happy to meet you at your arrival point, and help get you to ExCel on your arrival day. You won't get lost in London
As for Manchester - you just need to get on at Piccadilly and get the London train (I'd guess heading towards Euston). I can get to Euston for your arrival time, PM me the details and I'll work it out.
