I think this is the first mention of a bidet in OOTS.

 

I love that V is back to his/her "casual badass" self.

 

Why is Haley flying?

 

In the previous panel V said s/he had one more Flying spell prepared. S/he cast it on Haley, and Haley carried Elan.

Love the Tarquin Team banter. They prod him about his genre savvyness.

 

As of tomorrow, the 29th, The Order Of The Stick is 10 years old.

922 - Payback

Possibly Belkar's finest moment of awesome since Seeing Orange.

I looked and looked for that B&W happening, I thought it'd be in the 770 through 810 portion as that is where he was in the arena and such but I do not see it.

Flee, flee befor me, worms! Bahahahahahahhaha!

 

No, it's not there - and that's the point. This was supposed to be a surprise (a missing scene, so to speak). We only saw Belkar and Red and Geoff after they released the T-Rex (I think it's a T-Rex...?) into the arena.

 

I thought it might be something like that. I was right there in the similar panels and it simply wasn't.

Folks on the official forums keep trumpeting Belkar's death should happen right about now but the funny part, as I've said before, is that death was neve rmentioned. Just "drawing his last breathe, ever."

 

923 Breakthrough

924 Resource Management

And the chase is on again!

 

I really hope they crush Tarquin and end this plotline.

 

He took them on by himself and was toying with them to move things along. Now he brings with him two of his epic level friends and he is "taking matters in his own hands".

I'm just a tad pessimistic. However, I do love Tarquin, but the "I'm always genre savvy" stuff is getting old and they need to move on.

So either Xykon and gang interfere or else the OOTS somehow talk Tarquin out of killing Greenhilt because Elan needs to progress on his own or something.

Edit: And I missed the update by mere minutes.

 

Dammit. I comic store near me keeps OOTS books stocked but they did not have On The Origin Of PCs. He said he would order them and I forogot to go back and check.

 

Yeah, this looks like it's going to be a pretty epic showdown. Although I hope OOTS will at least have a chance to rest before it happens...

 

The bit where Laurin casually gets Tarquin to owe her one.... it feels like a way one might quietly smuggle into the story the seeds of Tarquin's downfall.

Belkar's entire intro.

Roy's original adventuring party was basically like real life players.

V on a wizard's reality show was hilarious.

I'd gladly take a man's life to get a t-shirt of Roy in a Robin costume.

They almost had a solar on the team.

This also put me back in a fantasy frame of mind which I will need as I shall start read The Last Dark tomorrow.
