Greetings all. It is my tremendous pleasure to announce Mark's petition to the Force council has been accepted and that I am sponsoring him for the knighthood trials. Given Mark's affiliation, this trial will be to confirm his status as a Dark Lord of the Sith. Barring any scheduling conflicts the trial will take place on Wednesday the 13th of December. I will post details once all combatants have been selected and informed.

So let me be the first to offer my congratulations to Mark and wish him luck in the upcoming trial.

Though I think we should be making Mark a Sith Knight, not a Dark Lord of the Sith, as there can only be two of those, the Master Lord and the Apprentice Lord, and anyone under that should be a Knight or Master or somthing, but not a Lord. Though we could make him Dark Lord once he has taken on his own apprentice... Just my $0.02

My feeling is that there should be only two with the title of Lord, the Master Lord who is the head of the Sith order, and his apprentice who will become the master once the incumbent master dies, however that may happen. Then those under him/her should be titled Master, Knight, Accolite, ect. And once the apprentice lord becomes the master lord, he chosses from among his/her underlings who will become his apprentice, and the cycle continues. I acutally have this system in note I came up with for the fanfic a few years back.

 

The Order of the brotherhood of darkness is in this wise after the fall of the replublic:

1. Master/ one apprentice

there are always sets of two.. the rule of two died with Palpatine... So a Sith becomes Lord ie: Title: Dark Lord of the Sith Carcinus ( which means he is a so called night) and when he chooses to take on an apprentice he can then call himself THE Dark Lord of the Sith and Master to ( choose an apprentice name which he will give his apprentice)

We are planning on meeting on the Wednesday before and the Wednesday after.

We are NOT planning on meeting the Sunday before.

 

Regarding class tonight (12/27/06): Weather permitting there will be class tonight. I will be monitoring the weather throughout the day and will check the field closer to class time. If it is too wet to fight, I will post here. Keep checking the boards for updates or call my cell if you wish.

 

Will we be meeting at an alt location if class is a no go, or what?

That's ok Matt, because we didn't have class anyway. Don and I were busy getting costume stuff done to wear at the Rose Parade tomorrow.

 

On behalf of both Don and Mark, I've been asked to post a change in time for Class today.

We will be meeting at 1:00 pm, instead of 2pm, in hopes that it will be a little warmer closer to noon than later in the afternoon.

Bring your jackets! It's still gonna be chilly out there anyway. My computer says 52 degrees.

Hey guys,

bad news... the mouse has me working this sunday night until like 7:00pm. If you guys are still going to be around then cool, but if not its okay. I have on the job training and because it's ojt I can't reschedule. Good news... I should make the others becaue my availability says so.

For the Sunday classes, we go home when it gets dark.

 

There was no class this past Sunday due to the club meeting. Class will resume this Sunday as usual at 2pm.
