Folks never had that trouble w/ me... Of course I subscribed to the "What they don't know, won't hurt me" Philosophy... My baby sister on the other hand... Started early (physically) and had 2 older brothers who were not happy about it [face_plain] My youngest brother had to pick her up from swim practice before he went to registration for his senior year of high school and she tagged along. Walks in the door to the house, throws his bag down and informs my parents that he is not taking her anywhere anymore.

Mom asks Jes what the deal was and she says a group of his football buddies saw her waiting by the car and made some lewd comments to my brother (not knowing it was his baby sister) and the coach had to pull him off of them  [face_plain] [face_laugh] See, her birth certificate might have said she was only 12, but Mother Nature thought she was 20 :p

So... Friday night I'm in the kitchen getting things ready for Jeff to BBQ. I realize that Jacob has gotten awfully quiet...(oh no! bad sign) so I start looking for him. I don't see him anywhere so I ask Mick... (Maryna's in the office playing on the computer) so she goes back to Maryna's room and low and behold, there is Jacob, playing on the floor... He has pulled the bottom drawers to Maryna's dresser out and helped her unpack everything in them... He had found a box full of various types of sanitary napkins, that needed dispursing, frisbee style... ALL OVER the room.LOL

Christy: I want cinnamon toast. Cut it in squares and triangles.

    JADA brings toast to Christy.

Christy: This isn't sqaures or triangles! Try again!

JADA: It is too squares and triangles, there are right triangles.

Christy: No, it's not right! Do it over.

JADA makes another piece of cinnamon toast and brings it, almost the same cutting design to Christy.

Christy: Very good, Mommy, you're learning your shapes.

Christy and Grammie are about to sit down to play "Candyland". I turn to Grammie and give her the following advice:

    "Let the wookiee win" ;)

Feldman, you have got to get that on tape. Man, that is just too cool. I mean, imagine looking back at that in 20 years . . .

when GL is dead and his estate has sold off the rights to Spielberg, Stackpole and Zahn to make Ep7,8,9

    . . . did I just say that! [face_shocked]

Christy: I'm getting the can of tuna fish for my lunch.

JADA: OK, I'll make you a tunafish sandwich.

    (5 minutes later)

JADA: Do you want it cut in squares or triangles or whole?

    Christy: What?

    JADA: Your tuna sandwich.

    Christy: I don't want a tunafish sandwich!

    Go figure! [face_plain]

I don't know which of these is funnier.

    Grammie: What is his name?

    JADA: Theobald.

Grammie: Theo - that means God!

    JADA: Yes, Theobald

    Grammie: Bald God?

Oh, when lines from Star Wars just pop out of your mouth.

The wee one was about to take a bath when she shot out of the bathroom (in her attire appropriate for taking a bath . . . ) Here is what was said:

    Grammie: We've been mooned!

    JADA: That's no moon, it's a spacestation!! [face_shocked]

Tonight I was about to put mousse in Christy's hair when she asked if she could do it. So I sprayed some in her hands and she said:

    "I just love shamousse (shamus)"

    [face_laugh]

Christy, while cleaning out and cutting the pumpkin with Grammie:

"Ew, yuk, he's drooling! Our pumpkin is drooling. Gross, now he has a buger!"

VOID, this is your wedding . . . not the Christy and Makay show. And I can almost predict that those two girls together could figure out a way to unplug Las Vegas and plunge it into darkness!

    Although I am kind of thinking about it . . . ask Mick . . .

Christy: I am Super Powerful Underwear Girl!

Christy: We have a new letter book, the letter F. It sounds like Faa, ffaaa (insert F noises and sounds as only a 6 year old can make them).

    [i]GRAMMIE: INCREDIBLE LOOK OF SHOCK!!! [/i] [face_shocked]

Well, I live by my little cousin Kegan's advice:

"You can't run with the big dogs if you pee like the puppies."

Something tells me he didn't learn that from his mother...

The other night Christy stubbled out of her room at 11:00 pm, came into my room and said:

"Mommy, I have something to tell you."

    Me: "OK, go ahead"

    "Red and white make pink."

Me: "Thank you, I can now sleep peacefully with this knowledge."

Jessica to Void: "Have you killed anybody ?"

    Stunned Obey pause....

Obey: "I guess somebody has seen daddy play too much ghost recon."

So Christy and I just had a "sword" fight with the tubes left over from wrapping paper. Let me tell ya, if they had been real, I'd be minus several body parts including both my hands.

"Powerful she is, in her the silly side I sense."
