Roch, NY Pittsburgh Comicon & NE FanForce Awards

Once again this year the NE FanForce awards ceremony will be hosted by the Star Wars Association of Pittsburgh and will take place at/during Pittsburgh Comicon.

Pittsburgh Comicon will be April 27th-29th 2007 and has already started to list their guests (most of which are regulars that appear each year - Michael Turner is one!).

Just noticed that they've added some new guests.
Most notable is Wayne Pygram who played Tarkin (albeit briefly) at the very end of Episode III.

I'm going to be sending in some group photos and general photos for the slideshow at the awards ceremony.

There was also the suggestion of taping a short video message and sending that in to be played at the ceremony. I'm not sure what the deadline is for the video submission, but if folks are interested I thought it might be cool to do this at Village Gate Toy Show.

I'm thinking of doing a little quickie fan film for submitting for judging, in time for this. More of a music video really. I'll probably be enlisting the help of you all at the VGS Toy Show for any pick-up shots I need...

 

I can take video submissions as late as march 31st if that helps you nicky

 

I have condensed alot of information into just a couple FAQ thread. U can check it out in the NE discussion forum for updates.

Also I would like to start a Hotel Master List who is staying where and who needs floor space etc... does anyone want to post where they are staying?

I haven't had the time to sort through our gazillion photos yet, but I am going to try to buckle down and get that done tonight to send in some for the slideshow.

As my chances of going to this con are only about 5%, I definitely would like to do up a short video submission to say hi to all the folks able to attend the awards ceremony.

Strawbary: That'd be great, as my supposed travelling companion is still on the fence about going to this con, and I really want to make a return trip. As such, I may need some of that "floor space" you mentioned, and may need to coordinate for a ride as well.

Just got my Pittsburgh Comic Con newsletter in the mail today and on the front it states Star Wars guests will be announced soon. So, hopefully they'll add some more to the guest list.

I resent the email with photos a couple days ago, have you not seen it yet?
It had group shot submissions and pics for the slideshow.

We taped a short message and I'll be sending that to BobaChris as soon as I get it off the camera.

I will need the photo submission with in its own email. Alot of chapters sent a lump email and I need one photo designated as a submission photo. If you designated one in that email I cant seem to figure which one it is.(I did get the slideshow pics though )
SO if you could resend just the one titled submission photo that would be superdeeduper!
