sprry guys I have been swamped working 2 jobs and the next two weeks are even more hectic. :(

I just tossed a few ideas around with Karl and our only option would be the fire station which will require a 225.00 fee or the library which is free. ;)

We dont have more than 20 people coming so it would seem to be a shame to spend all that money on the firehouse.

I can opffer my home since yes - my tree is still up. *sighs* so it will have the holiday feel. However for those of you that have been to my house its quite crowded, but everyone is most welcome. So everyone can toss it around and see what they want to do.

Next we need to figure out food, are we going pot luck like we did at the firestation last year?

Also are we doing a gift exchange? I know its 2 weeks away so lets get planning ! :)

Thanks for those who have been most patient! we need to get back into the swing of things :) Myself included.

Ok rathedr than editing my lat post here is a thought:

After some research Karl and I have come up with a possible fun alternative to the fire station.

    How about Colemanns Irish Pub?
Here is the link to their luncheon menu we could hold it in the banquet room there. check it out: Luncheon menu

If we could get a minimum of 30 people we could go with a luncheon or breakfast buffet. Here is the menu :
    Lunch Buffet

Please post your thoughts on this. We could have a pretty good time at Colemanns ;)

Now all we need is 30 people.....We could just pull random people of the street while we're in costume and ask them random, obscure questions about the movie.

They'll probably ask if they're on candid camera but hey, we might get a few members! ;)

everyone needs to post who is going -
    For example:
    Andy: 5 people etc.....

So I can make one list and post and add the names as needed. Its getting really close and I need a head count at this point. Otherwise everyone will just meet there and pay for their own tickets and I hate to do separate checks for 20 people LOL ;)

Thanks guys. We still need to discuss if we are doing a gift exchange or not, havent heard any comments regarding that as well. If so whats the cap on it? 5$ ? 10$ ?

    thanks guys!!!!

    EDIT:

    So far I have :
    Doc Bev: 3 people
    Strawbary: 5 people

    Ian
    Chang
    Andy
    Nate

ok we are only at 19 people. If we go with a buffet they will charge us for 30 people and whoever doesnt show we will get stuck paying for. So what I recommend is that we go with a sit down luncheon where we pick 3 items to choose from and we pay for what we eat.

If everyone want to go to this menu: Colemanns
and vote for 3 items you think we should be allowed to order when we get there.
Now remember this does not mean we will get all 3 to eat it means we have our CHOICE of the 3 everyone votes for.
So when you arrive they will ask : do you want turkey chicken or pork......blah blah blah....

This will not be separate checks so everyone will need to pay me when they arrive. I will have totals for everyone once everyone decides on the 3 items we will be ordering from. If you would like to consume refreshments other than what comes with lunch there is a bar downstairs you can buy those separately.

I hope this isnt coming across the wrong way I am just letting everyone know the deal so there is no confusion there and no one is stuck paying for someone elses tab. (which has happened before ) LOL

I am excited and cannot wait to see everyone. So lets hurry and decide the menu so I can call them back :)

Also I am putting a 10.00 cap on the Gift exchange. Nothing fancy guys, doesnt have to be SW either.

That menu sounds good. I'll make sure to remind Gord, he doesn't check these nearly as often as he should.
