ok is it me or has the spin-offs of doctor who gone too far?

it talks about adventures when sarah had said her life had been boring when the Dr left her!! and she was going to go back to a normal life. appart from K-9 she has no link to adventure and K-9 isnt that good a link if you ask me.

    anybody else got any thoughts?

I guess it was supposed to be she couldn't have a normal life after the doctor so did investigations on what was happening that wasn't supposed to.

To be honest I actually found it better than a lot of the Torchwood episodes so not really going to complain too much about it at the moment.

    Awesome idea. As long as

    a) Davies doesn't write it
    b) If he does, he doesn't turn it into a gay romp.

    I liked the pilot episode.
It was more like Dr Who then Torchwood is, and it had some cool-looking aliens.

It does however look like K9 has been written out of the series, or most of it. That annoys me as he was the main reason I tuned into the show.

It's a CBBC show aimed for the 5pm viewing before evening Neighbours

Thogh I'm not fussed about watching it I don't think its a spinoff to far, Torchwood was ment to interest the older who fans, this is ment o interest the younger so unless you're about 12 you're no ment to be as into this as the others. Not that some of us may watch it and end up liking it.

yeah but Dr Who itself is aimed at that generation!!

please nobody suggest any other spin-offs or some producer might read this thread and decide to do one of em!

and i agree K-9 was the only reason i'd watch it and he seems to be lacking

I wouldn't say Dr Who is aimed at any generation. It has somethihng for those who watched and enjoyed the older series while updating it for the newer audience. Its a family show with SJS adventures and TW on either side of it for the younger and older audience respectivley.
