September 6th - General Meeting

As a result of many people being unable Cindy's pool party...holding the meeting then would not be as productive as possible. To give everyone plenty of time to arrange their plans...I ask you all to keep Saturday, September 6th open. Southpark Mall foodcourt @ NOON at the "Bespin looking window" seems to be a good place...let's go with that (unless there is another option)

EDIT: This meeting was cursed! Next scheduled GENERAL MEETING is October 18th (time place yet to be determined). There may be other events aside from meetings...so stay tuned.

 

Sounds good to me...I might have to work later in the day because I have a game Friday so I also might be VERY tired but I don't see why not.

 

It's a Death Star throne room window, not a Bespin window or a "Star Wars lookin" window.

And I suppose I should be able to make it assuming I don't have too much homework... *sigh* I dunno about the youngling, and if he'll want to/is able to come.

 

It also looks like the Bespin Dueling fight window...and oh yeah this will be the first meeting after school starts...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

 

Since there is a difference of opinion, as to which location the window resembles...I say "Star Wars lookin' window" for the sake of simplicity. This isn't a major point of debate...just look for people at the back of the foodcourt!

It's on rt 82, about a half mile west of I-71 (if that), in Strongsville, Ohio.

The window in on the second level at the front of the building (facing North, also facing rt 82), in the food court.

 

Southpark has been a regular meeting place for us (easily accessible from many areas), and the Star Wars Lookin' Window can be seen from the front entrance to the mall. This is what the window looks like...I can't believe I found a picture of the window!

While there are a couple things to discuss (and having as many people as possible will help)...I'd like to keep with the plan from last meeting. Get through the buisness at hand by staying "on target"...and then plenty of time for more social stuff.

Sounds good. My dad is busy that day, so my sister's taking me. She doesn't like SW at all.

The only reason she's taking me is because She can shop and I'm paying for gas!

You'd be surprised...most of the time, people end up checking places like KB and Waldenbooks AFTER the meeting. So there will be time for "doing the rounds"

I have never been to a meeting where one of my family members did not come. Strange, isn't it?

 

DVR, it's not that strange, the first couple of meetings that we had, a member of my family came with me. (Be it my brother-in-law or my parents.) Soon I was able to come on my own. But you have to learn how to drive before you can come on your own.

 

yeah, only 1 more year and i will be driving!

Ok...I've got a problem. Because the people at Dillards can't read "requested off" on my schedule; I have to work this Saturday. If I can't work around this...I'll have Emily bring the T-shirts.

Would anyone want to get together Sept 13th? I would like to meet our 1st time people...but my attendance is not life-or-death.
