OK, something new to waste time, but very simple . . .

Take a movie, then choose any actor/actress in it (let's avoid directors, producers, etc) and connect them to someone in a Star Wars movie in six movies or less. It's not a contest, so either be as concise as you want, or be creative and use all six to show off your movie knowledge!

For example, the movie is Big Trouble in Little China.

    1. Kurt Russell was in Big Trouble in Little China and he was in Executive Decision with Steven Seagal.

    2. Steven Seagal was in Under Siege with Tommy Lee Jones.

    3. Tommy Lee Jones was in The Fugitive with Harrison Ford who was in Star Wars.

Ta-Daaa! Now you get the idea. After you've made your connection, name another movie for the next visitor to do!

    I'll start with . . .

    Analyze This

Analyze This stared Lisa Kudrow, who stars with David Swimmer in Friends, David stared with Harrison Ford in Six days, Seven Nights.

I beleive this is correct. If we are allowed to use TV also.

    Next movie,

    Hulk

    2. Ed Harris was in The Rock with Nicholas Cage.

    3. Nicholas Cage was in City of Angels with Meg Ryan.

    4. Meg Ryan was in When Harry Met Sally with Carrie Fisher who was in Star Wars.

I didn't realize that you had to use the movie mentioned. I was wondering why it kept saying movies at the end... Sorry, just trying to participate.

Swingers had Heather Graham, who was also in Lost in Space. Lost in Space had Gary Oldman who was also in Air Force One with Harrison Ford who was in Star Wars.

I guess it's too early to institute a "no Harrison Ford" clause. :p It's hard to come up with a movie that
can't be linked back to him with a little thought. Oh well.

Since I just saw it while flipping the channels . . .

Gawd! I actually remember going to the theater to Remo Williams as a kid. But it's been years since I've seen it. Since I can't remember anyone else in it right now . . .

Remo Williams had Fred Ward who was in Sweet Home Alabama with Reese Witherspoon.

Reese was in Pleasantville with Tobey MacGuire.

Toby was in Spider-Man with Willem Dafoe.

Willem was in Clear and Present Danger with James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader.

I just didn't want to use Harrison again. :p

Another movie I noticed in the satellite guide last night . . .

Darn, no Keith David, there goes Hollywood Homicide.

    Let's see . . .

Men at Work had Emilio Estevez, who was in Judgment Night with Cuba Gooding Jr. (And was incidently the first movie I ever reviewed for a newspaper.)

Cuba was in Pearl Harbor with Josh Hartnett.

Josh was in . . . wait, no way, Hollywood Homicide with Harrison Ford.

I was actually gonna filter that through the Affleck/Smith connection, but the irony caught me at the last second.

    Hmmmmm . . . since I listen to 80's all day, I heard this song and I remember enjoying the movie . . .

Well I had to look up the name of the kid that starred in it, which was Barrett Oliver, who was also in Cocoon with Wilford Brimley.

Brimley was in In & Out (hilarious!) with Kevin Kline.

Kline was in Life as a House with Hayden Christensen.

Actually, The Killer I was talking about was from around 88-89 I think. It was directed by John Woo, and this is probably the movie that finally got some interest from the studios in bringing him to America. The guy who starred in this movie eventually came to America a few years later and has made enough movies here now that a link is probably not that difficult. If anyone is into Hong Kong action, this is the standard bearer. And this is also before Woo got somewhat tamed down by American studios so the action is ridiculous. (Actually the whole movie is ridiculous on a certain level, which is what makes it fun.) So with those clues . . .

    The Killer (1988/89?)
