Snowed In

Can someone please remind me what a weatherbug is?

 

Weatherbug is a small program I have on my computer. It's linked to a computer somewhere that gives weather predictions. Most of the time, it just shows the temperature. But it also gives weather alerts, forcasts and stuff like that.

 

Well, I got out of school at 11:30 today. It hasn't even started snowing yet though. But, I'm not complaining.

Supposedly this thing is supposed to last until the morning commute tomorrow and the Worcerster county area is supposed to get 8-14 inches.

I'm doing my "No School" dance for tomorrow!!

 

It was snowing, now it seems to be raining/freezing rain. I hate being this far South. Snow always turns to rain.

 

Hope everyone is okay... power outages a few towns over from me in North Andover and Haverhill...

Of course if you live there your not reading this.

Oh it's lovely to live in Essex Co. above rt.495. You lucky dogs in Boston only got 5 inches! We have like 14 if not more.

Going to un toub my car and try to get to my first patient. (HHA)

Go over to fan fic and read if your snowed in.

 

Us Worcester County folks were also lucky!! We got a good foot and a half of snow. Fun stuff.

No school today!! Yippeee!! And I got out early yesterday. This is going to prove to be one short week!!

Well, I hope all the kiddies who went to school today are having fun!!

 

Same here for no school. Last night here in West Newbury we were without power from about 6:45 to 10:40. I was so mad cause I missed Boston Public! Good Show, Good Show.

 

I thought we'd get a lot. It piled up fast when it was snowing. Then it turned to rain.

We did lose power for about one second. IT shut off my computer just as I was about to post here.

 

WELL, I had to go to school! we didn't get that much, i was disappointed.

 

Does anyone watch Boston Public? It's one of the best shows...in my opinion.

 

I've never seen it. My brother saw the most recent episode and said it was pretty good. Maybe I'll catch it one of these days. Apparently that episode was about a teacher "McDavvit-ing" a student(if you want to know about that saying, it's a long story involving a former history teacher at BR, but I'll give you a guess as to what it is).

 

No way! At B-R?!? We don't have any of that going on at W-H. At least I don't think we do...

 

Well, it isn't going on anymore. McDavitt left right after that. No one's seen him since.

 

We had something like that happen at SH, but it was just a "close" relationship between and male and a female student. It didn't go as far as the one on the show though.

Is that what we're getting?

 

Thats what the weatherman on 4,5,and 7 are saying.

 

Wow, all the weathermen are in agreement?

 

Well, one's saying 4-8, another 12-18, and the third over 2 feet!

 

South Shore?

 

I'd guess, if the storm's coming up from the South.

 

Oh puhleeze! Didn't they say that about the New Year's Eve storm? They kept saying, "IT'S THE BIG ONE! IT'S GONNA RIVAL THE BLIZZARD OF '78! AT LEAST TWO FEET OF SNOW!" And then it became a non-event. I'll believe it when I see it.

 

I'm planning on getting out of school on Monday and a 2 hour delay on Tuesday. I live in the Worcester area so there is always more snow here than most places.

I'm thinking no school tomorrow and possibly no school Tuesday. But, thats being really optimistic. I doubt we'll have school tomorrow though.

It looks like around where I am is supposed to get the most amount of snow! Hehe!! No school!!

I'm all set to be snowed in...apparently my mom ordered twelve boxes of girl scout cookies and they were just delivered, so I'll be eating those!!
