    SOOOOOO...

With Halloween fast approaching (2 months away!! OMG!!!), what's everyone doing?

We've decided to have a party.

    SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30th @ JOSH & RACHEL'S

You's all invited, yo. We've got ample crash space, and it'll leave Sunday night open for trick-or-treating.

And...is anyone working on anything in-particular? I'll have pics posted between now and Saturday -- depending on my level of frenzied activity, it'll look really cool by then. [face_devil] :D

EDIT: Changed the name to something party related

Honestly, it'll probably end up being a quiet movie night, but...ya never know.

And costumes are MORE THAN WELCOME. I know I'll be wearing mine. :D

for this halloween i want to do a ton of stuff

but i think im going to burn myself out

    i want to

    -finish my spidey suit
-at least get to the point in my grievous costume were the cloak hides my body

Burnout is bad. Besides, if you have too many costumes for a single occasion, you spend all day changing, and no time actually wearing them.

OK, must get back to my clay.

Oh, and FYI for anyone who's never been here -- we live in Pueblo. I can send directions later.

thats prolly another reason why i wouldnt be able to make it

the whole "2 hour drive" thing

    yah

i think i'll settle on spidey and gievous

halo armor would be cool because you could call it HALOween

*ducks to avoid things being thrown at me*

I think I just had a sharp stomache pain when I read that. LOL.

The MC helmet would be the only obstacle -- the armor would be easy to sculpt and vac -- it's be even easier if you had a wood shop. You could carve all the pieces and vac right over the wood. The helmet would need to be fiberglass if you wanted to really make it look nice. Make a reinforced silicone mold, and paint the fiberglass on the inside of it. I've never done it before, but very very soooooooon I will. ;) :D
