V.C, CA Star Trek Nemesis

I know, I know: I'm a blasphemer. But I've always liked Star Trek as well.

This Friday, I'm going with my dad, brother, and some other friends to see Nemesis at Edwards Theater in Camarillo at 4:45 P.M. If anyone wants to join us, that'd be great! Just post so I'd know to look for you.

 

Star Trek? I'm sorry to inform you man but you're out of FanForce. I mean, come on, Star Trek?

Just kidding, I'll let it slide this time. Still though, I'll be boycotting the new ST movie just like I have all the past ST movies.

 

I definately like Star Wars a ton more at this point, but my dad made me watch my first Star Trek at 4 (first Star Wars at 3)! So, I grew up on Voyager kind of continued to Enterprise, though it's horrible.

So, I know you don't like me anymore; sorry.

Why do you boycott them (besides the obvious not liking it)?

 

I see, so your dad is to blame! I won't make that mistake, if/when I have kids I'm going to sit them in front of the TV and make them watch every Star Wars movie the day they get home from the hospital. Hahaha.

Why do I boycott Star Trek? What can I say? Star Wars and Star Trek have been rivals forever, I've just gotta stick to my side. It's like a Catholic person going to a Jewish temple. Just kinda weird... main reason though--I don't like Star Trek, it's boring. I'm not really into SciFi in general though, just Star Wars.

LOL! That'll probably be the same for me...that already happens when my parents tell me to read.

I guess that is a good reason to boycott it. Sorry I can't say the same. I am loyal to both!

Ugh, I was doing the school newsletter. It's a pain the rear! I'm always up till late hours at night doing that one...when I get fed up with it though, I check the boards.

 

Yeah, I was up working too. I'm usually working until at least 2am every night. Between homework, running a small business and the freelance design I do I'm always busy working on something.

We sold our place! :~) And we're this close to buying a place!

Don't worry, we'll have another FF meeting sometime at my home, sometime, just so you can all come over again. It'll just be somewhere different!

I saw Nemesis! It was very, very good. I'm going to see it again sometime. You guys don't know what you're missing!

The movie was terrible. It was a bad clone of the Wrath of Khan! Right now to the final "battle" in the green nebula.

What's next "Star Trek: The Search For Data?"

I don't care. The series topped itself with the Genesis Trilogy (II, II, IV). Especially the new DVD version of II.

 

I haven't seen those yet. I'm going to have to rent them.
