I just re-discovered an old game from my dad's star wars stach, Star Wars Pit droids. and I was wondering, anyone else played this game resently? or has it been collecting dust on the shelf? it's one of my favorite games, I thought it was older then my system could handle. i was wrong! Arica.
Is that the one where you have a line of pit droids you have to get around obstacles to a safe spot? I remember playing a demo but never got the full game, which is a shame. It was kinda fun.
I like how you asked if we haved played it with resentment. I haven't owned a system in eons, but my friend owns every SW game in existence and I actually loved playing that one. Not resently at all.
I used to love this game, so much fun. I have absolutely no idea if I even still have it. Probably wouldn't work on my mac though...
Hm, I was thinking that this was the other kiddie one were you put together droids and learned about engineering and stuff. Should get this, see if I can get past level 2
That other one would be "Droid Works", where you are supposedly a rebel agent disguised as a Jawa, building droids in the pit of the sandcrawler, and spend all the game controlling the droids. I thought that was pretty good, although I did end up having to map out the dark warehouse a couple of times.
Released on iPhone & iPad today: http://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/star-wars-pit-droids/id494450386?mt=8
This is the same game that came out for Mac/PC back when TPM first came out? Sweet, that was a rather fun, small, game.
I remember having Yoda Missions and Droid-Works (you're a Jawa agent, and C-3PO tells you the missions--supposed to be 'educational').
