Star Wars Roleplaying Game in Moncton

Is anyone in the city interested in playing a Star Wars Roleplaying Game based on the Clone Wars? I've been trying to run a steady campaign since Christmas Break, but I'm short-stocked on players. I had a player who has since moved to Alberta, and another who is tangled up with work.

If any of you are experienced gamers, give me a shout through the MB; even if you've never role-played before, you are more than welcome.

If anyone has any questions or comments, of course, feel free to do so.

Well, I don't think that it'll be anytime soon, since I have a tremendous amount of impending schoolwork to finish. For now, I just want to gather players and maybe brainstorm ideas for characters and stories. You can use this forum to really get your creative juices flowing.

Darth Babe and Daughter of Yubyub, do you have any idea what kind of characters you would like to play? Remember that it takes place during the Clone Wars (that means no Ewoks; sorry Yubyub.) You can take your pick from these character classes.

-Fringer (like Luke in Episode IV)
-Noble (like Princess Leia or Queen Amidala)
-Scoundrel (like Han)
-Scout (like Chewie)
-Soldier (like Stormtroopers)
-Tech Specialist (can't think of an example)
-Force Adept (like the Witches of Dathomir)
-Jedi Consular (like Yoda)
-Jedi Guardian (like Obi-Wan)

Give me a buzz if you have any ideas, or let me know if you want some help to figure something out that would suit you.

That's just one of the pitfalls of being free of parental nagging.

Well, Darth Babe, it's not impossible for you to be a Sith Lord. It's damn-near impossible, but not impossible. The thing is, you can't start as a Sith, and you must also kill one of the current Sith Lords to become one.

You can still become a Jedi, though. Maybe after you gain experience you'll turn to evil.

 

Edmontooine had its first group RPG game last night. It was actually really good, especially since only 1 of 10 of us had ever played before...

You guys should enjoy it!

 

Yeah, we're going to have approximately that level of experience too.

Well, it looks like that Darth Babe and Daughter of YubYub are the only ones who are interested in this Roleplaying Game (still not sure where you stand, Wild Karrde).

Darth Babe, if you really want to go in the direction of a Sith Lord, then I think you'd fit in the role of a Jedi. Of course, you'd be in the side of good for the time being, but you could take on some tragical flaws like arrogance, something that could push you to the Dark Side and eventually place your character into a brand new pair of Sith Shoes!!

Daughter of YubYub, you said you wanted to be a Scoundrel, right? Any idea what type of Scoundrel? You don't necessarily have to limit yourself to the Han/Lando archetypes (smuggler/gambler). You can also become a thief, a pirate, or a mercenary. You could even try to think of your character as the Star Wars version of Ocean's Eleven

Wild Karrde, you have yet to tell me what you would like your character to be like. I understand that you and Darth Babe are an item, so maybe I can work the story around a romance between your two characters. Who knows? Maybe THAT'S what drove her to the Dark Side!!!

Anyway, that's my two cents worth. Let me know what you guys think.

P.S. I might also be including some of my friends into the roleplaying game that are not part of this forum. I hope that's okay. Like I said, this is something that will probably happen in the long term, most likely during the Summer.

Hmm, my favorite scoundrels are probably slicers. Would they fit in a clone wars campaign?
