TAINTED

Fleeting glances of a life gone lost
I see them in my dreams
Like a ship whose bow is tossed
I drown in infinite misery

Consuming darkness engulfs my soul?
Forever my mind crumbles,
Shattering into a bottomless hole
?I am left in the overwhelming shambles

I cry out with a voice not there
No one heeds my call for salvation
Only darkness, with its icy stare
And I am silenced in strange fascination
I cannot escape its addictive embrace
Though I know it is my murderer
But in my mind is another?s face
Untouched by my cold tormentor
Her beauty surpasses this tomb of black
And this hideous mask I wear
I reach out but am held back
By my shackles of power and their snares

And as I look into my ghostly eyes
I see the truth in them
No one can save my from my desperate cries
Or keep me from what I?m meant
Yet I cannot help but wonder
What a life would be
Without these mistakes thrown asunder,
Without this tainted creed


Yet I am lost?
Forever?

I loved the feeling of it all. Very well done.

 

That was a very good look into the confusion of Vader/Anakin. I liked it very much!
