London, ON TCSS Switches

Anyone whos bought switches from the custom sabershop can tell you they are easily damaged, and will flicker after too much use. This is a problem with all of mine too, but easily remedied.

Too much use will bend the terminal inside the switch up, this prevents a solid connection from occuring. Once bent flat, the switch will be good as new.

1.Pry open the switch, (you'll need something sharp.
2. You'll see a metal flat bit with a spring inside. Remove. Don't lose it
3. The 2 terminals are underneith, pull them out and bent them straight, or the center slightly upwards (with the switch button facing down.
4. put the metal bit and spring back in on top of the terminals.
5. squeeze the two halfs of the switch back together with pliers.
FYI

 

Don't ever pull on the button of the switch, this is what speeds the damage.
