I wonder if we'll see the Nightsisters riding Rancors in this episode?

Dooku looks seriously ill in that picture. But yes, like everyone I have high hopes for this episode. I think Talzin or Ventress will die this arc, they'll be plenty of action no doubt.

    Please don't do that...

Anyway, looks like a cool episode. I hope Maul's appearance is left for the last episode, so at least I get to enjoy the rest of the arc. Feels a bit strange that Dooku would wait so long to exact his revenge. It would have been cooler if season 4 had opened with this arc.

Ventress is officially becoming a Nightsister... that isn't a good sign for Obsession. [face_worried]

Otherwise, the episode looks like it will be incredible. Dooku and Talzin seem to be having a Force-powered battle of wits, we get to see Nightsisters in action, and hopefully Grievous will get his first big victory by destroying the village and preventing Ventress from renouncing the Sith!

I hope Grievous kills Ventress... period.

Dooku won't take her back, nor has any reason to.

Obsession's continuity is pretty much gone already anyway with the absence of Alpha from SW:TCW.

That doesn't hurt the comic. Killing Ventress will hurt the comic.

Ventress no longer being Dooku's apprentice has killed it since she's his apprentice in Obsession.

That can be fixed. If she's dead, then all that goes to hell. Though if she's alive, Ventress would leave Dooku for a second time now in Obsession.

I don't think she'll get killed in this episode.

But why would Dooku take her back?

    Continuity :p

But if TCW still hates it, I can see it ignoring Obsession, and killing off Ventress. However, I don't think in this episode. Granted, I never liked TCW Ventress, but it's too soon to kill off a villain they hardly use now.

Even though I thought "Obsession" was awesome.....I say kill Ventress. I'm tired of her and her spaced-out story. This show has done a terrible job of keeping her character together so viewers could follow.

Season 1: Dressed like "Raven" from "Teen Titans", Ventress screws with our heroes like a typical villain would. She had a fair amount of appearances in Season 1 and TCW film put together. Though the animation and design was flawed, her portrayel was executed relatively well.

Season 2: Doesn't show up. That was a total bomb-drop right there. It's like she was removed from the show or something....

Season 3: Starts out with her as a Seppie once again but that would be pretty much be the last time. With the gap that was Season 2 and Dooku's disapointment with her so early as of "Cloak of Darkness", her exclusion from the Seppies shows a poor sense of foreshadowing. We all knew she would be kicked out anyway since the story would have to reflect on the comics somehow. Oh, and since they thought they were doing the fans a big favor....they gave her old original outfit back (which she wore for only one episode). Whoopie, that outfit could have been a new model for somebody else.
Don't even get me started on the whole Nightsister species thing....

Season 4: Doesn't show up until the end of the Season.

Not a consistant character at all.

I wonder which side the massacre will end up referring to...

    Can you massacre droids?

I think Ventress is gonna survive this one, although if she does die it'll be one of the biggest character deaths so far. Certainly the only major non clone reoccurring character death.

I think it'll be the Nightsisters that are massacred (At least Talzin's coven anyway) rather Ventress dies or not.

One of the concept art pics may depict the Nightsisters massacred.

That's what I figure. And just watch -- they'll end the arc with some kind of statement along the lines of "...and then they were completely and utterly wiped out, never to be seen nor heard from again."

We may even see one named "Gethzerion" get cut down by Grievous.

Mother Talzin is definitely not making it out of this arc, maybe not even out of this episode.

They're hyping Maul but I seriously doubt he'll be the focus of this arc, its going to be S5.

But I'm wondering if they will clear the chaff for the series and finish the Talzin, Ventress, and Savage arcs.

I hope we get to see those laser bows in action.

Still, for all the stealth and sorcery of the Nightsisters, I can't see them standing up to a direct attack very well ( Imean, ventress backstory even implied that pirates bullied them)...makes me wonder what Talzin hopes to gain from all this.
