Err, didn't Ra's get incinerated in that explosion at the end of Batman Begins? :p If Al Ghul lives on, it would obviously be through his daughter Talia.

And it would be cool if Scarecrow comes back...he would be the one villain to (plausibly) show up in all 3 films

I like. I do hope that we get a good batch of villains and not just one or two. I understand this may be the last with Nolan and if so I want to see a few from the villains roster.

If Ra's is still bent on Gotham's destruction(or takeover) then he could use a kingpin version of Penguin for example.

Boo on multiple villains. Look what happened in Spiderman 3, you had so many villains that it was impossible to flesh them out and make them interesting. They just start falling on top of each other.

Hugo Strange would be cool, I saw a side-by-side of him with Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was rumored to be casted for the third film, back in 2008. Everyone immediately started thinking of the Pengiun, but if he's out..

    Agreed.

And that woman looks nothing like Talia. At all.

Roberts played Salvatore Maroni, not Zucco. Zucco kills Dick Greysons parents.

And you even left out Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul!

He doesn't count, since he was either a. a body double for the real Ra's al-Ghul or b. just holding the title for a few minutes until he died. Ken Watanabe's character did nothing of any great significance and is practically a cameo.

Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow
    Cameo.

    Ng Chin Han as Lau
    Michael Jai White as Gambol
    Ritchie Coster as the Chechen

"Jokers Henchmen" or "Jokers Rivals" really dont count as "Villains".
They exist for the sole purpose of being used by the Joker.

Eric Roberts as "Boss" Anthony Zucco
Salvatore Maroni. Not really villainous other than having his guy sneak a pistol into a courthouse. He turned everyone over then tried to cut and run when **** hit the fan.

    Joshua Harto as Coleman Reese
Greedy and chicken**** do not a villain make.

    Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face
You say "villain", I say "tragic hero". Until he kidnapped the Gordons, everyone he killed deserved it. He is, in every sense, the Batman Universe's Boba Fett.

I love me some Anne Hathaway so I am geeking out a little. And Nolan's take on Bane should be interesting.

The only thing better than Hathaway as Catwoman would be Scarlet Johansson, but Hathaway can act so it balances out :p

I may be the only male on the planet that doesn't find Johansson all that attractive, but I honestly don't see it. Hathaway on the other hand, I would watch in just about anything.

Anne Hathaway is some kind of skin-tight black leather outfit? Do want.

As for Bane, I'll take him as long as they leave out anything related to Azrael!Batman.

I like that choice of Anne Hathaway.

Bane is a curious choice that pretty much came out of left field.

Since this is Nolan's last Batflick, I wonder if he'll follow up on emptying out Arkham and unleash the gallery of Rogues on Gotham and the Bat. After watching Inception, I'm confident that Nolan can do layers and layers of Batlore in his final piece to his trilogy.

I suppose given that Nolan doesn't want to do any super-human or mutant villains like Penguin or Clayface then Bane was a natural choice to make.

Remember Bane is not just some mindless super-muscled monster as the Schumacher movie portrayed him, he is very smart. Great potential for character development given his prison back-story (if Nolan decides to do that).

I wonder if Hardy will play Bane in all forms or just him prior to getting the 'Venom' chemical. If they really want to make him look tough they could get some Pro-Wrestler to be the Uber-Bane.

Are the reports concerning two new female leads still valid? Talias butt Guhl or whatever her name is could still be in.
