The Memphis FF trekked across the Mississippi last weekend to meet up with the Arkansas and Dallas groups at a small con in Little Rock. A good time was had by all.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to Dragon*Con. That's what I get for buying a house this spring.

I spent the entire time at the beach in the water. I'm a mermaid now!

I'm always blown away by the costumes at Dragon*Con. Someday, I'll get to go, lol.

Dang, Jada! I took your picture and didn't even know it was you! I mostly costumed up as the "JayneTrooper" (stormtrooper with a Jayne hat). A bucnh of us decided that we're going to enter the Mr Star Wars contest next year, though. We can act the fool... Oh yeah... And I refuse to acknowledge any, um... knowledge to the Masquerade and that rock band "act" (especially that poser who played Flea) that was swept off... twice! Annnyway... here's some pictures!

I've discovered I need to get a new "Yarna" pose. The arms up just doesn't work for me.

I just found out I've been invited to be in a fan film as Yarna!

Dragon Con was a lot of fun for my teenage son and I to get away for the weekend and YES JADA looked absolutely worn out during the LucasFilm Steven talk. The mixer from the night before must have been wide open!

Yeah - maybe next year a bunch of us Fanforcers could have a mixer or at least a way to let everyone else know we are there and who we are!

 

Yes... plan ahead we must. The Cantina Ball might be a good place for it.

I'm glad y'all brought that up. Not sure why, but our old banner was deleted when this one was uploaded, so this is the only SE Region banner we have right now. What I'll do is switch to one of the generic Fan Force banners and then, hopefully, get a new SE Region banner made/uploaded soon.

 

Any requests for a new SE banner?
