I got into Miss. Traviss when I initially read her Star Wars novel Republic Commando: Hard Contact I was like "Oh, videogame novel, I'll pick it up but if it's like Star Wars Galaxies: Ruins of Dantooine..."

But it blew me away, it has been reprinted 6 times last time I looked and she was signed on as a Star Wars author after only publishing ONE BOOK. She is the only one to do that, so I picked up her other book, City of Pearl and it had a slow start for the first 50 pages but then took off, it was amazing, along with A Song of Ice and Fire my favorite books ever, its sequels are just as good, it's sequel Crossing the Line had even better writing but the most evil cliffie ever and the third book of her phenomonal series The World Before is the best sci-fi I have ever read.

I am surprised no one has made this thread yet, anyone else enjoy her work?
