For where they run, or where they hide makes no diffeence by your side.

 

doom for you and doom for them,
this hurts you like a rose's stem,
beautiful as a day's sunset,
deadly for those who forget,
warning, warning, the petals scream,
when you wake up its just a dream

 

You breathe and heave for your in fear, clam and cool is what you hear.

 

This is a cute and funny poem...

Pratical Application

He's teaching her arithmetic,
He said it was his mission,
He kissed her once, he kissed her twice and said,
"Now that's addition."
And as he added smack by smack
In silent satisfaction.
She sweetly gave the kisses back and said,
"Now that's subtraction."

Then he kissed her, she kissed him,
Without an explanation,
And both together smiled and said,
"That's multiplication."
Then Dad appeared upon the scene and
Made a quick decision.
He kicked that kid three blocks away
And said, "That's long division."

LOL!

 

That poem rocks! It's really funny.

 

NOW THAT IS A FUNNY POEM!!

 

Yeah isn't it hilarious!? Gosh the first I read that I was like on the floor pratically. Well not really but it's funny!

Confused

My Knees start to shake,
When you're in sight.
My mind is filled with wonder,
My heart with fright.

When will this feeling stop?
When did it start?
How can I listen to my mind,
Without breaking my heart?

I'm so confused.
What should I do?
I can't think of anything,
Except you.

Should I ignore you,
Or just give it time?
I can't think straight,
My heart controls my mind.

A cry of a confused heart. Quite good.

 

Inside

Bottled up inside
Are the words I never said,
The feelings I hide,
The lines you never read.

You can see it in my eyes,
Read it on my face:
Trapped inside are lies
Of the past I can't replace

With memories that linger-
Won't seem to go away.
Why can't I be happier?
Today's a brand-new day.

Yesterdays are over,
Even though the hurting's not.
Nothing lasts forever,
I must cherish what I've got.

Don't take my love for granted,
For soon it will be gone_
All you ever wanted
Of the love you thought you'd won.

The hurt I'm feeling now
Won't disappear overnight,
But someday, somehow,
Everything will turn out all right,

No more wishing for the past.
It wasn't meant to be.
It didn't seem to last,

Is it a man stuck in a box?

 

I have no idea!
That one could go many ways.

 

I know it has to be a man stuck in a box, it just has to,

 

Only if we knew the author then we could ask what it's about. I mean it could be something depressing, or a man in a box that's stuck!

 

Thats it! I am going to find out, anyone willing to follow? Well, anywa back to poetry, I find it many a times to be the persons expressed feelings going into the poem, and many times also the persons beliefs and ways of thought. All good poems are coming from the heart.

 

EVIL LIGHT

Be free from the light

Darken the way of which I can
but light the way that I should

 

hey, That was a great poem I especially like this following line: "Darken the way of which I can but light the way that I should."
Its a great line which shows that the bad things are always the things to which we do, and yet there are always alternatives.

 

Yes that is very true. That poem did intrigue me and so I posted it too. I'll have more shortly when I find more.

 

Yes, that poem was great, it even illistrates the typical Christian walk. There are always the good things to do, yet many times we choose the things that lead to utter destruction. But thank God there is someone to always forgive us!
