FF:NZ Theatres should be showing TPM next week

It's strange that theatres aren't showing TPM next week. Lots of people who only saw TPM at on release in theatres would probably go see it again on the big scree to remnind themselves of who is who (not everyone's a big geek like us when it comes to knowing who Qui-Gon, Mace, Shmi etc are).

At the least they should show TPM at 10 pm on the 15th, as a double feature leading into AOTC at midnight.

Heh... mine too. Well, on my PC, which is the only DVD player in the house.

 

That's actually a great idea. Movie "managers/owners" are pretty thick I guess. They would make a bit from showing TPM from a few days out.

 

I've yet to meet a "manager" of anything who isn't thick.

 

I think in this case it wouldn't be up to the owner/operators of individual cinemas. It may not even be a decision Fox NZ could make.

However, I expect TV3 would be quite able to use their rights to show TPM on TV.

This is the time when a home theatre system would be quite useful.
