Char, NC THIRD FANFORCE MEETING - Friday, March 29th

Ah yes, more details to be posted tonight, after we all have discussions about the next meeting.

Also, four people attended this meeting at Picasso's Sport's Cafe.

This Friday at Caribou Coffee on Fairview Rd., just down from Phillip's Place, in the Foxcroft shopping center. Right now we're set for five o'clock--if anything's changed, we'll post it.

Earlier is just fine with me. I have the entire day off of work.

When can everyone be there?

 

Well, I'll see about it.

It's rather far from my house, so my parent'll have to drive, but I should be able to come.

 

Well, we just all need to set a time...

I'm with Ole_Oke_Dokey - I can get off of work for Friday.

I guess it can stay the current time, though.

I've posted your meeting announcement on the FanForce web site.

I'm very excited that this group has come together so quickly. Soon, Charlotte will be official.

Once you gain official status, the City Rep will be elected and then the group can choose a name by which your FanForce chapter will be known by, if you wish. For example we in Atlanta are known as the Hothlanta Rebels. The Nashville folks call themselves Nashville After Darth. And Orlando, FL is known as the Orlando System. Of course, some cities simply call themselves "FanForce <insert city name here>". It's up to you.

I personally like the name "Charlotte Seperatists", but I guess we'll have to all vote on it (seperate thread on this board).

Also, off topic and all, but why the change in icon and colours?

 

I really liked my old icon, but I saw this one and just had to give it a whirl. Plus, it gave me the chance to try out my username color-matching skills.
