So NV Watched Users

Can someone please tell me what the significance of watched users is??? Cause I can't figure it out

 

It means that someone is watching you

 

Yeah, but I don't get it either.

It's not like you get some sort of e-mail or update to let you know that your watched users are posting. I think it is more of a status symbol, like "Oooh Look who's watching meeeee! I have more people watching me than you do! Ha Hah!!"



Therefore I propose that we all add each other to our watched users list to make ourselves all look quite important and intriguing to others especially when we poost on other boards.

 

I thought it was cool, I look at my profile and it says "who is watching you". all i could do was say "yippe, i have an e-stalker"

It's not like you get some sort of e-mail or update to let you know that your watched users are posting.

actually you can. when you add someone to your WUL, there is a drop down menu with the option of 'post notification', which will, if you set it up, send an email note every time that user posts. you acn change this later in the options menu.
more often though, it is used to note friends and people who you might want to get ahold of easily...

I had no clue that it actually meant anything. But does it actually e-mail you everytime one of your watched users posts, cause for some of these people that would be a whole lotta e-mails.

Moka: yes, when it's working properly (the active post notification is one of the twitchier features of TFN ) it will email you every time they post. which is why most people don't turn it on.
