Yes, that is a lot like what I was thinking. But I was thinking a much smaller lightsaber. Hilt and all. Much higher quality images all around was my thought. But it does give you the general gist of what I was thinking. Good find IB!

 

Okay, this is VERY ROUGH! I want to send this to Primrodo who is a graphic artist and can really work it out to make it look nice and clean. Obviously the lightsaber will need some screened glow to it, but I figured I would leave that to Prim. Let me know what you think...

I told Primrodo that we would give him a T-shirt for his efforts once they are done. He said he would get a saber and a gaffi stick version done over the next week or so. I'll post them as soon as he gets them done.

Ok I was thinking( wierd huh? ) and then it came to me the slogan it floated out of the mist of grease fog at the Pueblo A&W.
We should have your design then under in Southern Colorado FanForce and under that

I disagree with the boring part of your statment jared.The more i think about it,the more i think it works.How often does the RMFF use the slogan"A force to reckoned with."your slogan works,We may not be the biggest FF ,but we here and we are a strong little group.Plus we have a ton of 501st members in SC.So the force is strong in SC.
I am throwing my support behind it.

Personally, I don't like the gaffi stick version.

 

yeah, we should stick with the lightsabre one. the gaffi stick covers up too much i think.

 

I'll be able to add a "screen" over the saber so that it has a "glow" effect too. It is just something that will have to be "fixed in post".

 

I kinda like the one where the gaderffii stick club head points to the open "C" in SCFF, since you guys are kinda located in the desert and all. The saber one looks good too, although I have a point of contention with the decidedly Jedi-inspired hilt...

 

I think the gaffi stick version lacks balance and is a bit too cartoony.

Yes, the saber is Obi's. That is because it was easy to convert existing photos of it. If you have a good profile of, say, Vader's saber then we could get a version done with that. If you hurry we could have it ready for review at the P-Town meeting and compare them.

 

Err...uhhh...umm...I'll get right on that...

have we yet decided on an official logo for us? if we did i would like to see it.

 

The one above with the Vader saber will be the logo. The saber will move up into the cirlce and the SCFF will squeeze together. I'll check with Prim and see if he has re-done it yet.

 

Primrodo will try to get something done for us next Monday.

Then we can start talking T-Shirts and Flyers.
