The treasurer thing was done because we need to raise $25 for our domain name again.

At the October meeting, the subject of how we are going to go about funding projects like the JKOC website was discussed. In the past we have sort of "passed the hat" around, or individuals have made financial sacrifices for the group. But as we've become increasingly active in promoting The Jedi Knights of Cleveland in the attempt of drawing new members, we need to have a simple plan for raising funds.

One of the things mentioned, during the production of JKOC shirts was the addition of a small "Operating Cost" on each shirt. The money generated from this would go towards the costs of operating a website (such as registering the domain name).

In the first line of shirts made:
22 t-shirts were ordered (2 were for Honorary members)
16 people ordered shirts

If we got $1 for everyone ordering shirts...plus charge $1 from those expressing an interest in a 2nd wave of shirts...we would have no trouble raising the $25 I've already spent to ensure our domain name remains ours!
