It's insanely hot here and I think I've melted a few inches.

 

It's been really hot here today too, and there's this thick haze in there from forest fires in the surrounding area.

Wow, just saw on the news - Europe is really taking a beating.

 

Yeah, it's coming this way.

Yeah the fire's are still raging as far as I know.

 

We're The Netherlands. "Lower Lands". The water's bound to come this way.

 

Well we're still in the middle of a drought - thanks to El Nino. Everwhere else in the world gets the fierce storms and floods and we get nothing.

 

We haven't had rain in a long time here either. I really wish we would get some, I love the rain.

 

Complete art collections have been destroyed because of the water. And most buildings aren't that steady anymore.

I know what you mean. Tom. I grew up in the tropics, so I'm used to the type of summer rain where it absolutely pelts down for days. I really miss that.

 

I always love that.

 

Hmmm... I just discovered they published a manga of Interview with the Vampire... must have...

Dammit, this lightning is becomming insane.

 

I wish we could get a big thunderstorm here like the one we had two weeks ago.
