Weirdness at work

We actually once considered putting into a test procedure, "If the Electronic Load fails to respond after three reset commands, strike the panel near the load gently to attempt to release the stuck load relay and repeat the reset command."

They almost went for it.

At the last minute management figured that if the customer ever saw the procedure, he'd lose his mind. But it worked every time, a swift kick to the side of the unit was all it needed to get the relay unstuck and the system working.

We named the technique after the tech that figured it out.

We called it the "Joe Blow".



Just thought I'd share.
