I was getting towards the end of Mary Poppins when the power went. I thought that I didn't pay the power bill till I looked oustide and saw that the whole street was out. Then I had to fubble in the dark to see if there was a torch in the house. I finally found some matched behind the bar and some candles mum gave me (and that I said I'll never use) just before the power came back on.

Anyhoo, I'm struggling to stay awake, so I'll cya tomorrow.

I have to work tomorrow. I thought I was going to get a four-day weekend come Friday, but all salary staff have to work Saturday. I was so angry when I found that out.

Start back tomorrow, last day is Saturday!

Ah, six day weeks!

 

I have no help this week either

I get my new glasses on Wednesday!

More work = more pay!

I wish. And I've threatened to cut my workload and to go back on wages.

I've had one of those. He made me cry a few times and used to yell at me through the brick wall. I was so close to quitting....

There was a party when that boss left. And the store's morale lifted.
