What's your rating of AOTC from 1-10 (10 being the hightest and 1 the lowest)?

Is it great? Bad? Post your opinions here!

 

9.5...the only thing better was The Empire Strikes back, and that only barely. Empire was more enjoyable on a filmmaking/plot/dialogue level, but I think AOTC was more entertaining overall.

 

I'm still in a state of shock, 5 hours later. It was great! I'll come back tomorrow to give my rating when I have seen it again.

8.5 I found the scenes with Anakin and Padme a little dull, until they went to Tatooine. It even made me drift on occassion. But what made me want to stay up was the Obi-Wan on Kamino scenes. Everything else was great.

I agree with that, but I think AOTC is better for me, because its more entertaining overall. I'd give it a 10/10.

9 ...maybe 10. It was great. It almost gave me the feeling like I had when I was 5. ...and I was expecting it to.

9.5 i liked obi wans one liners and the huge battle at the end, jar jar let me down, he was only shown for 5 mins but he sucked

 

its got to be a 9.5 both times i have seen it an awsome film

Again, ESB beats it, barely. Or maybe not... still haven't made up my mind.

This movie rocks, and the only thing that could make it better would the the inclusion of a few of the cut scenes....

 

I have been at work since 1am this morning ...the local stadium seating theater is sold-out!

but from the book I would give it a 9!

Up until the end, I would have said a seven...but I gotta give it a 9. Only Empire was better.

 

10 for the 1st time
10 for the 2nd time
and i'm predicting a 10 for the third time which will be in about 14hrs time.

I had mixed feelings abou the whole thing. The yoda thing looked pretty cool and ridiculous at the same time. Dooku was had very little screen time for being the main villian. I think it was fun but I just don't know. If I a hard core starwars fan have reservations I don't dare even want to ponder how it will be received at the academies.

 

I'm somewhere between 9.5 and 10. I haven't decided on which way I'm going to swing because I've only seen it once.

And, lest we not forget, many of us enjoyed TPM after the first viewing and then over time, started to hate it. I started hating it after the third viewing when my brain finally kicked in and said "Stop being blind. This wasn't a good Star Wars movie".

So, even though I'm on a high, I have to see AOTC one or two more times to see how it goes on repeat viewings.

Having said all that, however, it's still a fantastic SW movie. By comparison, I give EMPIRE, JEDI and A NEW HOPE all 10 out of 10. I give TPM a 5 or a 6 out of 10.
