Please note this is about the storylines surrounding the bowls, not the games themselves.

Well, I screwed up my vote, was supposed to be for TCU, not other. I think that TCU/WI game could be a hell of game. TCU's tough defense vs WI's huge offensive line and 3 thousand yard rushers. Even if I wasn't a Badger fan, that would probably the game I would look forward to the most.

GT vs. the Air Force Academy. Considering the fact that Air Force is a flying school, having an awesome running game is a bit ironic. Also, it has a hilarious bowl headline.

I'm also going to have to go with Tech vs Air Force, but I'm biased.

Obviously, the game I'm most interested in is USC-FSU. But that's not the question. I went with Meyer vs Paterno because that just amuses me (though it STILL annoys me that Florida got the Outback Bowl). However, the "Can Ohio State beat an SEC team in a bowl game?" would be a pretty close second.

As usual, the most compelling storyline for me is how anybody can possibly care about exhibi...err...bowl games.

    Alright, alright, I'll leave.

    Simple answer: money.

The "explanation" doesn't actually explain anything.

Not voting yet, but here's another one: how many BCS games will have the wins vacated in the next ~5 years due to players retroactively being ineligible. I figure if Ohio State and Auburn win, we're at two. If we can get a good scandal involving an Oklahoma player, a TCU player and a VTech player we can get all five.

That should be a pretty high scoring game, I would think. Though not at the Auburn-Oregon level.

Ohio State--only because the NCAA suspension people will make it happen.
