Which character would you like to see turning out being gay or lesbian?

I must concur with Mastadge even though this precludes me from hooking up with Jaina!

 

I was tempted to vote jacen but went with none. there's a gay guy in deathstalker rebellion and it kind of grossed me out when I read him reminiscing.

borsk checks out asyr in one of the x-wing books but I believe he's celibate.

 

I dont think that LFL would put gays/lesbians in the story just for political corectness. Look how much else of it is non-PC: the lack of minorities, the lack of non-humans in command postions, Sullustans.

 

If GL allowed gays in star wars, Openly gay, andy mangels would have done it already in his books, and comics.

 

Actually, I'm Portuguese, and I can tell you.

Panaka means 'dork', Dooku means 'queer'.

Putu (which is one of the Morey actor's names!!) means small male organ, if you know what I mean, in Mexican slang.

I doubt seriously if George Lucas had gays and lesbians in mind when he created starwars and neither does the authors who have been choosen to carry on his story.

 

I voted for Jacen because I'd love to read about Han calling him a sissy and slapping him around and by Jacens actions so far I already consider him a pansy Hopefully he'll die in SbS so the writers have more room to write about good strong characters

I wouldn't care if a character was gay. It wouldn't change SW for me or anything.

But as a male teenager I must say Jaina.

 

Absolutely none.
One thing I like about SW is that it portrays different races and species(not as in "animal") as being just as important as any other and the hatred of someone because they were born a different race/species is considered wrong.
HOWEVER, the movies clearly portray that people can make wrong CHOICES and be considered wrong. This is also my opinion.

I was tempted to vote for Jacen because in a fic I'm 'writing'(haven't actually typed anything yet), Jacen turns out either gay or bi(haven't decided). But I didd that because I though him and another character(who's bi) would make a good couple. :\

I haven't read any NJO yet(thus my absence from lit for awhile, I've been avoiding NJO spoilers), so I won't vote yet.

I think it would be kind of interesting for Jagged Fel to be Gay, especially after Jaina starts hitting on him.

Its allready stuck in...at least in fanfiction. Take a look at fanfiction.net about 1000 of the 3000 some odd SW fics got gay obi-wan and qui-gon stuff..(not that i read it.)
I did vote for Jaina. As for the real stuff... who knows, if its done right it could be fine. I mean its one thing for say Jaina to admit shes a lesbian/bi and another for her just to go making out with girls all the time and kill part of her character.
