This might seem like an odd question... But during the trilogy we have seen many of Indy's friends...some of them we liked, some we didnt ... :p but to be honest, who was the best?who really was there for him?who was A crutial part of the movie plot?

Among the options:Salah,Markus,Katanga,Short-round,and...god damn it,what was the name of that chienes waiter in "the temple of doom"?? blah.
    :(
    U get the picture.

Indy's doomed Chinese friend was named Wu Han. I thought Indy interacted the best with Sallah. I hope John Rhys-Davies will appear in the fourth film, if it is ever made.

I think "Indiana Jones IV" should acknowledge the passing of Marcus Brody. It would be a nice tribute to Denholm Elliot.

Wo Han from Temple of Doom. That guy who posed as a waiter in Club Obi-Wan and got shot by Lao Che's henchman. I love his last words: " I follow you on many adventures, but into the great unknown mystery, I go first Indy!"

Hey, maybe once Ke Huy Quan is done with "Goonies 2" he can play a grown up Short Round in another "Indiana Jones" film!

Sallah is probably the coolest of his friend, with his fashionable desert hat and never ending supply of camels.

I liked Marcus, but why did the perfectly competent curator from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the first half of "The Last Crusade" turn into a bumbling fool by the last half of TLC? It's almost as if midway through production everyone changed their mind as to what Marcus's character should be (Marcus trying to "blend in" in Iskenderun was a classic, but he seemed like a moron during the tank chase).

Short Round - the concept of a kid sidekick is genius.

Marion - Her feistiness was assuring. You knew that she could get herself and Indy out of trouble

Salah - His jovialness was pleasing.

I like Sallah the best. He's a pretty cool character.

LOL! Marcus in TLC was funny to watch. Especially at the end where he nearly falls off the horse and Indy got to help him upright again.

*lol @ Hansolo29* Oh,I remember that... among other things.... [face_laugh]

Sallah: " You were named after the dog??"

God,that was good. But "Raiders" sure had it's kicks with Sallah too..

Indy: Snakes...why did it had to be snakes?...
Sallah: Aphes. Very dangerous. You go first!

    :)

Hey does anyone like to recreate the movie, line by line?
